There’s no denying that mountain climbing in Tibet is one of the most exciting and dangerous activities in the world.
Sadly, many climbers have lost their lives in the challenging mountains there over the last 100 years including David Bridges and Alex Lowe, two well-known climbers who were climbing Mount Shishapangma at the time, with an expedition of 7 other men.
16 Years Frozen In time
Both Lowe, Bridges, and their team had the hopes of skiing from the summit of the mountain but ultimately lost their lives on a fateful day when a Himalayan avalanche killed them. Thankfully their bodies were recently discovered by climbers and now the families of both men will finally have the opportunity to mourn when their bodies will be brought back to their respective homes.
